More About Me.
My name is 鄭會穎. I was born and raised in Taiwan. My mother tongue is Mandarin Chinese, and I also speak one of the dialects, Taiwanese Hokkien. I did my BA and first MA back home, both in philosophy. Before that, I went to local primary and high schools, just like my peers there. After moving abroad from age 28, first to NYC and then to London, I have blended in well, though I still find the East Asian form of life easier because I grew up there.
I primarily write in English, but here is one piece on recommended books of philosophy of consciousness that is in Mandarin. Another one is on the differences between British and American Philosophy. There are more in the front page. When I was younger I developed various skills, such as piano, table tennis, and Go (board game). Unfortunately I tend to lose the skills easily if I don't use them often. EDUCATION
